Hey Dads! This is my Google Duplex reaction after watching the Google I/O Keynote for 2018. Google Duplex is a service that Google is working on that will have AI (the Google Assistant) call businesses for you so that you don't have to set up your own appointments. In this Google Assistant example, they had Google Assistant calling hair salon to make an appointment using AI.

What I find interesting is that the human on the other end of the line doesn't know that this is an AI computer that is calling them, which makes me think about all of the privacy issues that come with this type of technology.

Should the human on the other end of the line know that they are talking to a robot when google assistant making phone call to them?

Does the AI record what the human is saying, and does it have a right to record so that is can use it machine learning to get better, like in this Google Assistant example?

Does there need to be a consent between the AI and the human for this interaction to take place?
